Seahawks Secure Play-off Berth with Thrilling Overtime Triumph over Rams.
Receiver Saubert executed the game-winning two-point play for the Seahawks.
The Seattle Seahawks staged a remarkable comeback to defeat the Rams in overtime, clinching their place in the NFL play-offs.
Overcoming a sixteen-point hole in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth consecutive win.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a two-year hiatus.
With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's standings with a 12-3 mark, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five seed with an 11-4 standing.
Game Highlights
Quarterback Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the second TD to star receiver Smith-Njigba in overtime.
The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long scoring dash for Seattle.
Rams cornerback Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's first pick for a big return, setting up a short touchdown by Corum on the next play.
In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua extended the advantage to 30-14, but Shaheed ignited Seattle's hope with a 58-yard punt return.
Darnold then found Barner in the endzone, and a successful conversion sent the game into an extra period.
Although Nacua raced in for his another touchdown in overtime, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to set up the decisive conversion.

- The young star now leads the NFL with over 1,500 yards for the campaign.
