The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the premier party of characters who will separate from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to head next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as key figures in the powerful family could help the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can expect learning which characters will be where in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
